Being Broke Costs More Than Being Rich

…because rich people are assholes and most people actually don’t give a fuck.

Now that I’m retired from launching religions I can act differently so I’m going to paywall all my new content on my Awesome Wizard Guide by default. This won’t apply to reposts of public content ported over from Medium.

Having someone say you don’t give a fuck about something you don’t give a fuck about is easy to feel bad about and reject in anger — but that would be a mistake. Still, it’s an option, so feel free to do so if you want to be wrong about something today and have been thus far denied the opportunity.

Most people don’t give a fuck about the poor. In the grand scheme of things I suspect we’re all most people.

This post looks like ideology but it’s not because it’s just an accurate description of the lived experience of poor people manifested as the consequence of the ideologies of the powerful. The ideologies of the powerful in our world mandate that the poor suffer for being poor. The systems of our elites sustain that status quo.

Describing this fact is not ideological.
