Astrology, Tarot, Crystals, and Undiscovered Physics of Consciousness
Realizing there’s a “there” there pissed me off because I was embarrassingly wrong about it.
I’ve only recently started to play around with the thoughts arising from my riff off of Chris Lehtos theory of reality being a hyperorganism. I feel very confident saying “Undiscovered Physics of Consciousness” now provided I’m not saying any actual science and am instead just describing what we’re seeing and what it could mean. I’m a computer scientist but I’m not a mathematician or physicist so I need to approach those subjects from the space of culture.
…also I think if I fuck up at this nobody will call me on it publicly because of all the other weird shit I’ve said, although recent experiences have show me that there’s definitely a bunch of people waiting in the wings to send me some intense emails.
Anyway, the fact that there’s relevant science happening in relevant spaces leaves me feeling pretty confident about some meaningful amount of what I’m saying. Maybe? Honestly, look, some people are out here at the extreme edge of things and don’t think anyone else exists. Who knows what the fuck is what and what the fuck anything even is anyway. Like really. Fuck.
There are undiscovered physics of consciousness
Parapsychological phenomena are real and they point to the existence of a parapsychological ecosystem. A handful of powerful organizations and associations existing within, or originating from, the US Defense Industry, spanning through both government offices, military commands, and corporate boardrooms could provide a bunch of damn-near-immediate credibility that could be attributed to the inquiry of this topic. They have fucking boatloads of information we don’t have. That’s not a secret we just don’t know what they know that we don’t know.
We need to know what they know that we don’t know. It applies to the whole fucking world. Every single person. Everyone who ever was or ever will be.
There are other governments and organizations that could take the lead on this despite the broad spectrum reticence of the Government of the United States to behave with a modicum of integrity. Someone has to. Look at the world. We need to do more. Fuck.
Our science is not the best science
Just because a whole bunch of our scientific output is the best it’s ever been doesn’t mean it’s the best it’ll ever be. Right? There’s obviously a bunch of shit we don’t know. We don’t act like there’s a bunch of shit we don’t know. We tricked ourselves into thinking the output of our science was something it wasn’t. What we thought it was and what it actually was often varied wildly in a way that can only be representative of a meta-systemic imbalance which couldn’t be measured from within the system of science. I’ve written about the manifestation of this meta-systemic imbalance before.
What’s a meta-systemic imbalance?
The term is new (to me?) to this article and the concept is something I’ve been playing around with for a bit.
I give an example of a different type of meta-systemic imbalance here on Professor Steve Keens Substack. I guess I define a meta-systemic imbalance as being when a system is considered in balance within itself but it is impacting adjacent systems in ways which are harmful to the broader meta-system which contains those systems. This is demonstrated when I point out that capitalism can only sustain indefinite growth within itself, and if it’s contained within, or connected to, other things it will consume or destroy them because it doesn’t know how to not do that.
I know it’s crazy that I’m a wizard but I think it’s crazy that we can define our economic system in a way that indicates it’s a violent uncaring entity ravaging everything it’s capable of ravaging.
Anyway, so that’s a meta-systemic imbalance. You can’t always detect them from within the systems that cause them because those systems often aren’t designed or incentivized to measure them. The imbalance causes a disequilibrium (because everything spins including ideas [but maybe they spin differently]).
Meta-systemic imbalances are discerned through multi-disciplinary approaches.
How the fuck does this relate to crystals?
Ok, so look, the placebo effect is a real thing where stuff happens that science says shouldn’t happen (and its effect is increasing). It’s fucking bananas, man. Crystals cause a placebo effect. It looks like in some cases it can be a very powerful placebo effect. Crystals used as part of a ritual can calm someone in a way that would take a significant amount of medication, backed by a massive amount of research, to achieve.
If your only thought on crystals is to dismiss them you’re neglecting the fact that they undeniably (edit: in certain circumstances which we don’t understand) have a higher cost/benefit analysis than a bunch of complex medicine achieved through complex science. Ignoring this, for any reason, is a mistake.
I haven’t ever done anything with crystals, by the way. I don’t own or use crystals. I’m just watching the people who do and now I’m not being judgmental about it the way I used to be. I understand that there are undiscovered physics of consciousness.
Tarot is an older version of machine learning. Maybe astrology is measuring the structure of the multidimensional hype organism that comprises reality.
